Okay, so you have a villain, who is legitimately intimidating and frightening. The irony is that he's stuck in a Sugar Bowl.
Examples[]
- Dragonlord and Necrozma are stuck in the BrantSteele realm, where every simulation by the hosts is run in the name of "it's for fun". Yet they have a "The Night That Never Ends" esque plot, which is what makes the trope apply to them.
- Hell, even BT Productions itself is meant to be all fun and games. But The Shield are notorious for unleashing chaos should they get their hands on major titles. They have successfully done so in the past, and are perfectly willing to do it again (except for one ever since a name change).
- Dean Ambrose unleashes mind control darts that turn those struck by them into zombie-esque slaves who could only repeat his name as they help him enjoy life as champion.
- Roman Reigns summons a massive thunderstorm that essentially forces the characters to remain inside a shelter or else risk being killed. All while his howling could be heard everywhere.
- Seth Rollins went the longest before he revealed his plan of attack, but it proves to be just as bad as his other Shield partners. It starts with a massive blizzard, then a firestorm melts all of the ice and snow. After the firestorm, the process repeats until Rollins loses his title.
