- In one BrantSteele Hunger Games Simulator highlight, Scotty Raven Jay takes the bullet that Anna Zappinski shot at Sam Jay. Of course, Fairiez interpreted this as another Sam x Scotty moment.
- Danganronpa V3: Kaito Momota shielded Kokichi Oma from a poisonous crossbow bolt shot by Maki Harukawa.
- In Entertaining A Small Thought, Rin Wakuri replaced Kaito and Kirumi Tojo replaced Maki. Additionally, Kirumi's weapon of choice was a poisoned throwing knife instead of a crossbow.
- The Murder Games Simulator has the failed retaliation event, where a character attempts to protect a teammate from an opponent, only to die in the attempt.
- BT Productions's Beat the Odds has an event where a character jumps in front of an arrow shot at someone else.
