Back From the Dead is one of many TV Tropes used in BT Productions.

Basic Info[]

A character dies, but then comes back to life.

Examples[]

  • Entertaining a Small Thought: Kirumi Tojo was killed by Tsumugi Shirogane, but then she came back to life after the Necronomicon was used.
  • It All Started By One Single Tear: The main gimmick of this Fangan is that the dead keeps coming back to life because of Y/N's Tears of Life. For Ryoma Hoshi, since he was reduced to a skeleton and the Tears of Life cannot revive skeletons, the Necronomicon ashes had to be mixed in with the tears.
  • J MB's Danganronpa: Shuichi Saihara the Ultimate Inventor was killed by Korekiyo Shinguji the Ultimate Butler. During the beginning of Chapter 4, Himiko Yumeno the Ultimate Anthropologist revives Shuichi. But the Necronomicon itself ignored the nature of the talent swap and brought Shuichi with his original talent of Ultimate Detective. Shuichi's second chance doesn't last long, as Monokuma executes him at the end of the trial for breaking a loophole.
  • It is possible for a character in the Murder Games Simulator to revive a dead teammate with a wish ring. BT Productions's custom Beat the Odds has since added more revival methods. For context:
    • A character with the inventor perk can build a machine that revives a dead person. However, it could potentially fail and turn the corpse into a zombie instead.
    • A character with electrokinesis can use their electro powers to restart a dead person's heart.
    • A character with a mushroom can use it to revive a dead person, with the mushroom being more likely to revive teammates and underdogs (but they can revive anyone, really).
    • A character with Pokeballs can summon Pawmot and use the move Revival Blessing to revive a dead person.
    • A character with a soundboard can play the song Rebel Heart, which revives a dead person.
  • The List of Deaths page shows how each character came back to life after being killed.
    • Guy was killed during LTIB 70, but he was brought back to life during the Code LTIB timeskip. Guy the White was reworked into a button system.
    • Sam killed Scotty with a chainsaw, but Tapu Koko convinces Xerneas to revive Scotty.
    • Scotty later gets killed again, this time to Sam's atomic rage. Scotty wakes up in Satan's Kingdom, where Evil Guy brings him back to the real world with vengeance on their minds. However, after a long battle, Sam defeats Evil Guy, and Scotty is freed.
    • Evil Sam claimed that SpearSam was the justice weapon. This got SpearSam killed, but after Evil Sam gained Arceus's forgiveness, Arceus revived SpearSam.
